i welcome reactions to my content, but i have some suggestions for content creators (e.g., commentary/reaction/drama channels [no shade]).

what you need to know about me:

1. on my own behalf, i appreciate good-faith, constructive crit... but i can't make you do anything.
2. i'm not a big copyright fiend, so i don't wield that weapon against people.
3. i've been diagnosed Not-Normal for a long time, so if that is the entire of your crit -- docs beat you to it, ayy lmao. 👽♿

audio/subtitles

i often utilize multiple audio tracks, please read the description for your best experience. the differences are usually surrounding background music/ambient sounds.

i often also use multiple subtitle tracks, and i beg you to use one of them.

• i'm often unclear: do your viewers a solid and turn on my subs.
• default lang subs are cluttered because they're the FULL TRANSCRIPT (incl. on-screen text, for translation purposes).
• feel free to use the cleaner, less cluttered CCs (esp. if you're not translating).

copyright

everything i say here is regarding my produced and edited youtube videos, if you react to a livestream and run into copyright problems... well, sorry bub, there's a reason i put my streams on an unmonetized channel. if, for some reason, you wanna react to a stream... proceed (and edit!) w/ due caution.

you don't have to mute my music.
if i'm playing music, it's royalty-free.

if you get a claim, it's only because of how ContentID works.
you simply dispute the claim with the correct information and it's cleared quick.

or look for the title/artist here -- notice: music licenses (if you have that info already).

• Creative Commons Zero: Public Domain (CC0) - (99% 0f them were from freepd.com). they're only in the system so a copyfraudster doesn't claim to have written their music. ("public domain" or "i have a license" either way.)
• Creative Commons "BY" (3.0/4.0) - give them credit in video desc, just copy the phrasing from my credits, or my music licenses page, for any CC-BY or similar licenses, then dispute. ("i have a license.")
• "Filmmusic.io Standard License" - treat this exactly like CC-BY (above).

if your claim is from...

kevin macleod - you forgot to give him credit in description, i literally just do it in every video no matter what now

rafael krux - he's one of the cc0 guys. use this dispute.

• (Artist) via STORYBLOCKS: it's the clipchamp license, use this dispute.
• The Mimsies and/or Casey Castille, don't dispute it thru youtube. just shoot me an email with your video URL. it's licensed. i'll get it cleared.
• anyone not on this list (or one of the two i just said)... it's a new development, or a false claim. either way, let me know, and we'll approach it in tandem.

the fair abridgement / fair use / fair dealing doctrine(s)

might be the lawful-neutral part of my brain talking, but i highly suggest learning the "fair use" doctrine inside-out. the legal history, the cases that changed it, the five factors (yeah, there's more than four, kinda)...

...not because *i* am gonna kick up a fuss, just in general.
