this is my return after like 2.5 years 🤷
in these video notes i'll usually be posting research or whatever, but that's not really a thing for this one.
this video is part of a playlist called "Lodane Lore" featured here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRHwY_P5l0_6MNgjh38TX1lzqN4Ej_dCn
VIDEO DESCRIPTION
FIRST THING: THANK YOU! Where have I been? What's keeping me offline? Well, apparently, my biographical details just seep into everything anyway, so here is a few pages from the official dossier with a promise of more later. Catching up on the subscriber milestone, housing disruptions, game modding breakthroughs, future channel plans, and why I can't seem to stop opening 1,000 tabs at a time.
DEAR REACTORS
hey. i only use public domain or otherwise licensed music that won't cause you any real problems if you react to it... but you need to know the following:
several songs by Kevin MacLeod were used, some are licensed via attribution. include the following in your description to avoid issues:
kevin macleod (incompetech.com) music via creative commons license; full info in @lodane video desc.
a song by Rafael Krux was used in the Bizz-Niss Nutz advertisement. this song was offered to the public domain a long time ago, issued on FreePD.com -- however, these free artists have to use ContentID in order to make sure nobody else claims their music and abuses the system.
If you get a claim (and you likely will) from Mr. Krux, do not be alarmed: I was very terse in my response (because I was surprised) and they still cleared it after 3 days (which their site says is how long they usually take).
Simply dispute it (or email it, see below) with the following (or your own version of this):
I reacted to Lodane's video located at https://youtu.be/D83ayZqlHlE wherein she used public domain music by Rafael Krux.Rafael Krux released "Hopeful" to the public domain via "Creative Commons 0," and published the song under that banner. This track was advertised as follows on FreePD.com: "100% Free Music - Free for Commercial Use, Free Of Royalties, Free Of Attribution, Creative Commons 0 - *It is 'copyright free' to the extent that the law allows."I appreciate the free music put out into the world for creators to use without having to worry about licensure. I understand that this claim was made to prevent others from claiming Rafael's music as their own, and to prevent abuse of ContentID.This clip might feature on my channel in the future, so if you have the ability to whitelist my channel(s) entirely, I would appreciate it.Please remove this claim urgently, and thank you for your time!
Rafael Krux's claims are done by SuperLaLa/Instant Music. According to this page (where they sound INCREDIBLY CHILL btw, unironically): https://www.superlala.co.uk/youtube-claims.html you can email them at youtube@instantlicensing.com with some version of the above (and your video URL, ofc) and they'll release the video.

CONCEPTS
the "advertisement" in the video is a joke i saw in Twitch chat (months ago) on Zachary Michael's channel, so i made that to literally just amuse that one person (CARLY!) spamming the joke that day (and myself, and hopefully you) but the name wasn't my idea... just puttin' that out there.
